The police are investigating the unexplained death of a Coromandel man after a domestic incident.
Emergency services were called to a Wyuna Bay property at about 11pm last night.
The police said they were called out by a woman in relation to a domestic matter, but when they got there officers found a 37-year-old man who was unresponsive to CPR.
They said the matter had been reported to the coroner and a post-mortem in Auckland tomorrow might shed light on what happened.
The police said they were also canvassing local residents for information.
