The driver of a logging truck has died after an accident in Bay of Plenty.
Police said the fully laden logging truck went off State highway 35 between Waihau Bay and Te Kaha in the Opotiki District, and overturned in a ditch.
The driver was trapped in the cab and died at the scene.
