Police in Dunedin are investigating the aggravated robbery of a student early this morning.
Police said the 21-year-old male victim was walking on Union Street West, between George Street and Great King Street, when he was attacked by three people.
The assailants punched the man in the head and face, and stole his cellphone and headphones.
The victim, who suffered facial injuries, has been treated and discharged from Dunedin Hospital.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the robbery to contact them.
