The police have recovered the body of a diver reported overdue in Momorangi Bay, in Queen Charlotte Sound today.
The local man in his sixties was reported missing on a dive about midday today and the Police Dive Squad travelled from Wellington to search for him.
His body was recovered at about 7pm.
The matter will be referred to the Coroner.
