One worker has been admitted to hospital after a fire at a fertiliser plant at Ravensbourne in Dunedin this morning.
Emergency services were called after staff reported a small fire in the manufacturing area of the Ravensdown plant. The fire is now out.
Ravensdown said at least two other staff were being examined as a precautionary measure.
The manufacturing area has been cordoned off but the rest of the site is operational and transporters and farming customers are picking up their fertiliser as normal.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
