One person was killed and two people were moderately injured when their car crashed into a bridge in Wainuiomata this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 5am, when the car struck the bridge over Black Creek, on Main Rd near Moohan and Stanley streets.
Police said the serious crash unit was investigating.
