A man is in Wellington hospital with serious head injuries after he was assaulted with a weapon, yesterday.
Police say the incident happened about 5.40pm in the suburb of Berhampore.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called to an address in Luxford Street however the police said no arrest has been made so far.
