Police in Christchurch have recovered more than 30 pairs of stolen women's lingerie after reports of underwear and bra thefts.
The lingerie was taken from both washing lines and inside homes in Achilles St in the suburb of Burwood.
Police said it was recovered from a property in the same area, and they are confident they will arrest the man responsible.
Detective senior sergeant Scott Anderson said the thefts from three Achilles St properties were reported last month.
But he said some of the recovered items do not fit descriptions given by women who reported thefts and he is appealing for others who may have had underwear stolen to come forward.
