Heavy delays are expected North of Auckland after a serious crash has closed a section of East Coast Road.
One person is in critical condition and two others in serious condition after two vehicles crashed near the intersection of Esat Coast Road and Wilks Road.
Diversions are in place South of Whangaparoa, and North of Silverdale, and will remain in place for another two hours.
