A post-mortem examination has revealed that a 42-year-old man involved in the Northland town of Omapere on Tuesday died of natural causes.
A man arrested at the scene of the fight on Tuesday afternoon was charged with assault in relation to an incident earlier in the day. He was also charged with breach of bail.
The 39-year-old appeared in court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear again in the Whangarei District Court on 5 August.
