Two Canadian tourists missing in South Island

Southern police are searching for two missing Canadian tourists.

The two 23-year-old men were reported overdue by family members on 25 July.

Police said Louis-Vincent Lessard and Etienne Lemieux, who both speak French, had travelled on an Intercity Bus from Queenstown to Te Anau on 7 July, arriving just before 10am.

The two men had intended to walk the Kepler Track in Fiordland National Park.
