A Taranaki woman has been charged with attempted murder after an incident at her Hawera home last night.
The 34-year-old woman appeared in the the New Plymouth District Court this afternoon.
Police allege she attempted to harm herself, two women and a man who lived at her home.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brent Matuku said none of the four people involved in the incident were injured.
The woman has been remanded on bail and was being provided with medical support, he said.
