Five people, most of them children, were taken to hospital after a fire in Auckland believed to have been started by an electric blanket.
The Fire Service was called just after 4am today to a small fire in Manurewa.
Firefighters found all eight people in the house had got out safely.
The occupants taken to hospital had minor injuries.
