Former Telecom chief executive Theresa Gattung is doing nothing to quell speculation she is going to run for the Auckland mayoralty next year.
The New Zealand Herald is reporting she is seriously considering a bid for the job.
She told Radio New Zealand this morning she had no comment to make on the matter.
Ms Gattung, who ran Telecom for eight years, now chairs the AIA insurance company and heads a food delivery group as well as sitting on several other boards for both businesses and charities.
