Police are still searching for a 71-year-old Omarama man who has not been seen since leaving his dog behind at a service station on Thursday.

Rodney Murdoch left his dog behind at the Omarama petrol station at 9.30am on Thursday and has not been seen since.
Police believe he was travelling north on State Highway 8 towards Twizel in a green 1994 Toyota Hilux Surf.
They are concerned for Mr Murdoch's welfare as he has health issues.
A police spokesman said they were still actively looking for Mr Murdoch, and anyone with information should call the Oamaru police station.
