A man robbed a Christchurch dairy at gunpoint yesterday and the police are appealing to the public for information.
Police said the man entered the Nancy Avenue dairy just after 11am with a small handgun, demanded cigarettes and money, and fled the scene in a maroon Ford sedan.
He is described as wearing a black beanie, a scarf and jeans, and was carrying a black bag.
