Nine young people were arrested after a police chase in Hamilton in the early hours of this morning.
The police said there were burglaries at the Kathmandu and Mill liquor stores.
They said after a short chase, two vehicles were stopped and nine youths arrested.
A large quantity of property from both stores was recovered.
The nine, who are all from Auckland, are currently being spoken to by police on matters including two burglaries and failure to stop.
