A 23-year-old Tauranga man has been stabbed with a knife.
He was found lying in a driveway in the suburb of Greerton about midday.
Police said he suffered wounds to his abdomen and shoulder, which they described as moderate to serious.
They said they found a 22-year-old man who was known to the victim a short distance away.
He will appear in the Tauranga District Court tomorrow.
