Manawatu Prison has been given the all clear after a bomb scare this morning.

Police put the prison in lockdown after they were called about a potential bomb just before 8.30am.
The Police bomb squad searched the prison but found nothing, and gave the all clear shortly after 11am.
The prison, located in Linton, south of Palmerston North, houses as many as 290 prisoners.
It sits next to the Linton military camp.
