Police are searching for an elderly man who has been missing from his rest home on the North Shore, Auckland, since Wednesday.
Bill Davies, 74, has a condition that affects his mobility, balance, and ability to think clearly. He has been without his medication since Wednesday.
Police said Mr Davies had probably been immobile and unwell since Thursday and his family held grave concerns for his safety.
His son, Greg Davies, said his father was likely to be disoriented and confused, and may mistakenly appear intoxicated.
His father may have taken a bus to football grounds in Auckland, where he used to work, he said.
