Staff and contractors employed by Contact Energy have begun getting its site at Otahuhu ready for sale.

Electricity generation at the 400 megawatt site stopped this week because it was no longer economic.
The company said an investigation so far has not found any ground or water contamination exceeding permitted standards or requiring any sort of remediation.
But it said it was carrying out further work.
Workers were currently removing all electrical connections at the site and removing fluids from pipes.
Some of the current buildings were likely to be left standing on an as-is basis for any purchaser.
Decommissioned spare parts would be sold.
The Otahuhu power station site is currently decreed as a Business Zone and is proposed as 'light industrial' in the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan.
The funds from the sale would be invested in the work required on another Contact plant in Stratford to boost capacity there.
