Police say they have spoken to several men after two separate sex attacks on young women in Christchurch on Friday night.
A 21-year-old was assaulted by a man in a red car in Peacock Street.
An 18-year-old was assaulted by three men in a white van she got into believing there was only one man inside.
She was able to get out of the van about 10.30pm, on the corner of Armagh Street and Fitzgerald Avenue.
The police said they had spoken to the occupants of both vehicles after members of the public came forward with information.
Their investigations are continuing.
