Mr Singh's wife, Amandeep Kaur, has been giving evidence at the trial in which she and her lover, Gurjinder Singh, are charged with murdering her husband.

Davender Singh was found stabbed to death in his car on Norman Spencer Drive in August last year.

Mrs Kaur can be heard telling the first paramedic on the scene a man had been arguing with her husband and had stabbed him.

St John Ambulance paramedic Catherine Timlin was travelling with a film crew in August last year when she was called to the scene. Footage was today played to the court.

This afternoon, Constable Aron Singh said he found a bloodied knife during a search of Gurjinder Singh's home.

Aron Singh told the High Court in Auckland he found a bronze suitcase inside Gurjinder Singh's garage and inside was a bloodied knife wrapped in a towel, as well as bloodied clothing, including a grey hoodie and a pair of gloves.

The Crown has told the court Mrs Kaur and Gurjinder Singh planned and carried out the murder themselves.
