A car was bashed with baseball bats and and shots were reportedly fired outside a Paraparaumu home yesterday, as an ongoing feud turned violent.
The Wellington Armed Offenders Squad was called out shortly after 5pm, following reports shots were being fired at a car outside the house on Frederick Street.
Another vehicle on Ocean Road was damaged with baseballs bats, and the door of another house on Mazengarb Road was bashed with a hammer, police said.
After numerous calls from members of the public about the way a vehicle was being driven around the area, police arrested three men, aged 26, 28 and 53, and seized several vehicles.
The incidents appeared to be caused by an ongoing feud between two parties, police said.
Anybody who has information about the events, including the movements of a silver Audi and a red Commodore in the Mazengarb Rd, Kapiti Road, Marine Parade, Percival Rd and Grey Ave areas, is urged to contact police.
