At least one person is seriously injured in a three-car crash in Waikato.
Police said they were called to the crash on State Highway 2, on the Waihi side of the Waikino Gorge, at about 6.45am today.
Emergency services were still at the scene, a Northern communications centre spokesman said.
One person was seriously injured but there were no reports of fatalities or other injuries so far, he said.
Traffic was down to one lane but was still getting through.
