To mark 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare, Auckland Central Library is dusting off the first published collection of his work.

It is the only first folio in New Zealand and is so valuable, RNZ was not allowed to see where it is stored.
Former governor of New Zealand Sir George Grey gifted the folio to the library in 1894. It will be on display until the middle of next month.
