Five men were injured, two seriously, when their car rolled several times near Mosgiel in Otago on Saturday.
The police said three of the men were thrown from the car after it crossed the road late yesterday afternoon, rolled and ended up in a paddock.
The crash happened about 5pm on State Highway 87 .
All of the men, who are aged between 22 and 34, are locals.
Emergency services who dealt with the incident praised members of the public who stopped to help at the scene, including a number of off-duty medical professionals.
