Three people have been taken to hospital after an explosion at a house north of Auckland.
Emergency services were called about 6.20pm when there was a blast at a property on Royalty Rise in Red Beach.
The Fire Service said a person was mixing pool chemicals, which caused the explosion.
It said four fire engines and a hazardous materials unit were sent to the house.
The service said all the injuries were minor to moderate.
