Disease hitting male vines

9:45 am on 14 August 2012

There are some signs of the PSA vine disease hitting male vines in green kiwifruit orchards in Bay of Plenty.

Red ooze and lesions are being seen on chieftain and M56 trunks.

Country Life reports that the disease looks to be hitting orchards that did not use copper as a preventative spray last year.
