The rural firm best known for its Red Band gumboots is set launch a range of workboots.
Skellerup says that it has produced four types of buffalo leather work boots after repeated requests from farmers.
Like the brand's gumboots, the workboots have been made to fit New Zealand farmers' typically wider feet.
There are two styles - slip-on and laced - and each comes either with or without steel toe caps.
The boots have been tested on all kinds of farming terrain over the past 18 months and will be sold from from Monday next week.
The Red Band brand is 54 years old - which is about the average age of New Zealand farmers.
