World dairy prices have risen by more than 1% in the latest fortnightly auction.
Fonterra's global dairy trade index shows that the average winning price was $US3387.
Whole milk powder is the only segment that declined, falling 2.5%, while anhydrous milk, butter milk powder and rennet casein rose sharply.
BNZ economist Doug Steel expects dairy prices to remain positive over the next year.
