Forum taps into trade links between NZ and India

2:23 pm on 28 November 2012

A forum in Hamilton is exploring ways in which the Waikato region can tap into the growing trade links between New Zealand and India.

India is New Zealand's 9th largest export market. More than $850 million of exports, including dairy products and wool, were sent in the past year.

Waikato University Management School has organised the forum to bring together business people from both countries as well as government officials and academics.

Associate Professor Asad Mohsin, the forum's convenor, says the aim is to make the forum an annual event, alternating between New Zealand and India.
