Kiwifruit vine disease Psa-V has been confirmed on another two orchards in the Whanganui area.
The first case of the disease in Whanganui was picked up a week ago.
Kiwifruit Vine Health has been testing and monitoring other orchards as a result, and has confirmed the presence of the bacterial disease in two more nearby orchards.
The agency has imposed a 10km radius control area with movement restrictions around the three infected orchards.
Four other kiwifruit orchards are also in the control zone.
