An embryo-transplanted Holstein has won the Supreme Champion award at the sixth annual New Zealand Dairy Event in Feilding.

The judges said the overall quality of the five-year-old, Fairview Dolman Jazz, her maturity and magnificent udder put her way ahead of her competition.

The Reserve Champion, Tahora Talent Theresa, from Te Awamutu, was overall champion last year.

The show, held at Manfeild Park Stadium last week, drew a record 350 entries of cows, yearlings and calves from throughout the country, representing all dairy breeds in New Zealand.
