Wool prices continued their upward trend at this week's North and South Island sales.
A small offering of mid micron halfbred wool fetched up to 5% more, while crossbred bodywool types increased in price by 2.5% - 5%.
Lambs' wool made gains of 4% - 5% and oddments generally rose in price, by up to 5%.
Australasian carpet mills, and India and China showed the main interest at this week's sales.
Of the nearly 13,000 bales on offer, 88% sold.
