Board directors challenged

Two farmer directors of Beef + Lamb New Zealand will have to defend their seats on the board in upcoming elections.

Sitting northern North Island representative, James Parsons of Broadwood, are being challenged by Robert MacNab of Ngaruawahia and Kevin Robinson of Thames.

In the South Island, Jeremy Rookes of Amberley and Phil Smith of Culverden are standing against sitting director, Andy Fox of Amberley.

Voting papers will go out next month for a postal and internet ballot, which ends on 8 March.
