Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the English Premier League with a 2-nil victory over Bolton Wanderers this morning.
An own goal from Gretar Steinsson and a Mario Balotelli goal secured a 14th home win out of 14 for City and moved them five points clear of Manchester United, who play at Tottenham Hotspur tonight.
Arsenal took pole position in the race for fourth spot in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Liverpool.
