The New Zealand tennis number one Marina erakovic will play Galina Voskoboeva of Kazakstan in the opening round of the 5 million dollar Indian Wells tournament in California this week.
At number 45, Erakovic is ranked 9 places higher than her opponent and they've meet just once before in qualifying for the US Open in 2007 when Erakovic won in straight sets.
The winner of the match will play 8th seed and French Open champion Li Na of China in the second round.
