First cricket test drawn

The first cricket test between New Zealand and South Africa in Dunedin has been called of because of rain and declared a draw.

No play was possible on the final day.

New Zealand were 137 for 2 in their second innings, chasing a further 264 runs for the win.

The second test starts in Hamilton on Thursday.
