The Chiefs are hoping their early season form will continue and result in them winning a few more Super Rugby matches in 2012.
After losing both front-line props and several other players to injury it appeared the Chiefs tight five would struggle to keep up.
However two wins from three games including beating the Crusaders at the weekend has Dave Rennie's side on a high with the Chiefs second in the New Zealand conference behind the Highlanders.
They play the ACT Brumbies in Tauranga this weekend and Rennie says they are looking forward to having a crack at the Aussies in the next couple of weeks.
