Warriors winger cleared of high tackle charge

The Warriors winger Manu Vatuvei has been cleared to play against Canterbury on Sunday, after the National Rugby League judiciary ruled he had no case to answer after a reported high tackle in Monday night's win over Parramatta in Sydney.

Vatuvei was put on report for a tackle on Parramatta centre Willie Tonga during the Warriors 36-20.

However the video review panel has found he has no case to answer for the tackle which left Tonga dazed.

It means Warriors coach Brian McLennan has been able to name an unchanged squad for this weekend's match at Mt Smart stadium, against the Bulldogs who've won their first two games of the season.
