Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba remains in a critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest during the FA Cup quarter-final at Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

Muamba collapsed on the pitch at White Hart Lane and the match was abandonned just before halftime.

The 23 year old was given prolonged CPR before being taken to the London Chest Hospital where his heart eventually started beating again, but he remains anaesthetised while specialists monitor his condition.

He's been visited by his family and fiancee.

Bolton's Premier League game at Aston Villa which was scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United players shared a minute's applause in support of Muamba before their Premier League this morning, which United won 5-nil.
