The Wellington Phoenix have been beaten 2-1 by Central Coast in their last A-League regular season football match in the capital.
The Mariners led 1-0 at half time and doubled their lead early in the second half, before Leo Bertos scored late for the Phoenix.
The result means the Mariners claim top spot for the play-offs, while the Phoenix finish 4th.
They will host a play-off match in Wellington on Friday.
