Stopping the All Whites striker Shane Smeltz will be a major part of the Wellington Phoenix's chances of going any further in the A-League football finals than tonight's minor semi-final in Perth.
The Glory marksman's been in stunning form lately, banging in seven goals in two games to take his latest Australian league side this far in the playoffs... so his former club coach and current international mentor is wary of the Smeltz factor.
But the Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert's hopeful his boys can shut Smeltz down...
