Red Bull struggling for pace

The reigning world motor racing champion Sebastian Vettel said he was pleased to finish 5th in last night's Chinese Grand Prix after failing to make the third qualifying session, but the race provided more compelling evidence of Red Bull's dramatic decline.

Vettel's teammate Mark Webber was also trying to accentuate the positive after finishing fourth, the Australian pointing out that there's very little between the leading teams.

Mercedes' Nico Rosberg ran away with his maiden win in his 111th Grand Prix, and Lewis Hamilton's third straight third placing this year has given him a 3-point lead in the world championship over his teammate Jenson Button, the runner up last night.
