Rain stops play in Trinidad cricket test

9:18 am on 18 April 2012

Rain has halted play midway through day three of the second cricket Test between Australia and the West Indies in Trinidad.

The Windies were 188 for 4 when play was stopped, with Shivnarine Chanderpaul unbeaten on 74 and Narsingh Deonarine not out on 34.

The pair made 88 runs for the fifth wicket after Darren Bravo was trapped lbw by Michael Hussey in the morning session for 38.

It's unclear when play will resume.
