The Highlanders have made two changes to the team that lost to the Stormers at Easter for their Super Rugby clash with the Blues in Dunedin on Friday night.
Mike Delany will start at first-five ahead of Chris Noakes who drops to the bench while Ben Smith has not recovered from the knock he received in the Stormers match, pushing Tamati Ellison to fullback and Phil Burleigh to starting centre.
Lock Josh Bekhuis will also play his 50th game for the Highlander when he takes the field.
The teams are playing for the Gordon Hunter Memorial Trophy, which the Blues currently hold.
