The Wellington golfer Gareth Paddison, making a rare appearance in a European tour event, tied for 39th at the China Open despite a disappointing weekend.
Paddison was round about the top-20 for the first two days, but scores of 71 and 73 at the weekend dropped him down the table.
South Africa's Branden Grace won by three shots, making it three titles for the season having come through the qualifying school at the end of last year.
