Three of the Australian National Rugby League's highest profile player managers have been suspended from the game for six months for their roles in the Melbourne Storm salary cap saga.

George Mimis, David Riolo and Isaac Moses have been banned from representing players for their part in the Storm salary cap breach which led to to the Melbourne club being stripped of two premierships in 2010.

The Rugby League Accredited Player Agents Scheme's committee found that each of the agents had breached the rules of the scheme and the Code of Ethics for accredited agents.

Allan Gainey, who manages South Sydney and former Melbourne centre Greg Inglis, was issued with a caution.

Riolo, Mimis and Moses are all believed to be seeking further legal advice to appeal the decision.
