Dufner leads in Louisiana

The American golfer Jason Dufner birdied two of the last four holes to take a two-shot lead after the third round of the New Orleans Classic in Louisiana and close in on a maiden PGA Tour victory.

Dufner, who twice lost out in playoffs on the PGA Tour last season, is playing his 163rd PGA tournament.

Masters winner and defending champion Bubba Watson rocketed up the leaderboard with a seven-under 65. Watson, who made the cut by one stroke, has a share of 16th place at nine-under.

The New Zealander Danny Lee had a 2 over par 74 in his third round to slip to a tie of 66th.
